Rigid P.V.C. consists of a minimum of 84% Polyvinyl Chloride Resin, blended with such stabilisers, lubricants and processing aids as are necessary for manufacture and satisfactory performance. When required for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries, no additives shall contain lead or cadmium compounds.

Hardness: 65-85 Shore “D”
Continuous Temperature Rating: -20°C to 70°C
Flammability: Self-extinguishing
U.V. Resistance: Excellent
Thermal Expansion: 5.4 x 10-5 per °C
Chemical Resistance: Acids, Alkalis and Detergents have no effect. Resists Alcohols, Aliphatic Hydrocarbons and Oils. Soluble or swells in Keytones and Esters. Swells in Aromatic Hydrocarbons.
Breakdown Voltage: 17-25 KV / mm
Thermal Conductivity: 0.17 Watts / M. °C
