Pattex Contact Adhesive is at the core of our contact adhesives range. This Toluene free formulation spreads easily, bonds quickly and offers superior sticking power. Pattex Contact Adhesive is versatile and bonds most materials. It is heat resistant and flexible once cured.

Tips and tricks:
Too much glue?
Excess Pattex Contact Adhesive can be removed with Acetone, Benzine or Tangit Cleaner. Soak a cloth with Acetone, Benzine or Tangit Cleaner. Wipe off the excess glue with the soaked cloth. Take the necessary precausions if a danger of ignition exists. Ventillate the area well. Need an alternative for a pressing roller? Contact glues need as high a pressure as possible for a few seconds, to ensure the best bonding performance. Professionals use a pressing roller, but a rolling pin, bottle or something similar can also be used to evenly distribute pressure over the bonded parts.
The fine print
Pattex Contact Adhesive is not suitable for Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Teflon, Flexible PVC and Polystyrene. It is recommended for indoor applications only. Pattex Contact Adhesive is heat resistant up to 80 degrees Celsius.
Storage:
Pattex Contact Adhesive must be stored at room temperature. Temperatures below +5°C and above +40°C have to be avoided. Shelf life: 12 months in unopened container.
