Description

Fitting of the SE166 Relay to a Fridge with a 110 Volt compressor.

This will allow the fitting of a 240 volt compressor to the Fridge.

Connect the 110V supply from the 110V compressor wiring harness to the relay base. Connect the Active (+) to Terminal 8 (A1) and connect the Neutral to Terminal 1 (A2).

Take a 240V Active and Negative supply from before the 110v steps down transformer inside the fridge and run it to the relay. Connect the Active (+) to Terminal 5 and connect the Neutral (-) to Terminal 4.

Connect Terminal 6 on the relay base to the run winding of the 240V compressor. Then connect Terminal 3 on the relay base to the common on the compressor.
